![]() One of the most rewarding blessings about this job is the opportunity we have to serve our men and women of the armed forces. Working at Omni has afforded me many opportunities and adventures ~ adventures beyond my wildest dreams! The world has become my playground – over 30 countries and counting! In 6th grade, I told my teacher I wanted to be a flight attendant for our “career day.” It’s crazy to think my dream has become a reality and I am so grateful. ![]() My advice for new Ops Reps would be use all of your available resources and never be afraid to reach out for help! We may be a small community and we may not get to see each other very often, but we are a close group with a wealth of knowledge and experience who are always there to support one another in every way possible. I apologize now about my cracking voice as it drops – trying to brief baggage details has been humorous! My preferred pronouns are they/them, but please don’t panic if you get them wrong - even I do sometimes! Naturally, I did what anyone in my position would do: I became a Flight Attendant!įast forward five years and then COVID happened…However, as fate would have it, just about the time I decided to seek out another position within the aviation community, an Omni plane landed at the Indianapolis airport where I was based. Moving up to Station Manager in PGD helped me to develop my leadership skills while learning the ins-and-outs of a station, but after a few years, I wanted a new challenge.
